HRM King Godswill Asomugha (Okpu Awa of Umuawa-Alaocha Ancient Kingdom) Congratulates Umuawa-Alaocha Youths on Successful Rescue of Kidnap Victims
The Traditional Ruler of Umuawa-Alaocha Ancient Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, King Godswill Asomugha (Okpu Awa), has commended the bravery, unity, and patriotism displayed by the youths of Umuawa-Alaocha and neighbouring communities in the successful rescue of the two Umuawa indigenes who were allegedly kidnapped by suspected herdsmen.
In a message of appreciation, the royal father particularly praised the leadership of the President-General of Umuawa-Alaocha, Hon. Chimex Nelcinn Uluocha, for mobilising the youths and coordinating efforts that led to the safe rescue of the victims.
According to the monarch, the operation demonstrated the enduring spirit of brotherhood, courage, and communal solidarity for which the people of Umuawa-Alaocha are known. He noted that the swift response by the youths prevented what could have been a tragic situation and reinforced the importance of community vigilance and collective action in safeguarding lives and property.
