Sen. Abaribe Dumps ADC, Joins LP
The senator representing Abia South Senatorial District, Enyinnaya Abaribe, has reportedly defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Labour Party (LP).
In a phone conversation with Swiftbreakingnews, the Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party in Abia State, Emenike Iroegbu, confirmed that the senator has indeed joined the party.
The development represents a significant political shift in Abia State, given Abaribe’s long-standing influence in the state’s political landscape and his current role as senator representing Abia South in the National Assembly.
