GOMEP-NG Celebrates National President, Otiti, on Birthday, Describes Him as Visionary Leader
The Guild of Online Media Editors and Publishers of Nigeria (GOMEP-NG) has felicitated its National President, Comrade Akpovoke Otiti Treasure, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a visionary leader whose commitment and contributions have continued to advance the growth of online media in Nigeria.
In a goodwill message, the Guild celebrated Comrade Otiti for his exemplary leadership, dedication to the development of digital journalism and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of online media practitioners across the country.
GOMEP-NG described Comrade Otiti as a visionary and purposeful leader who has brought fresh ideas, courage and dedication to the leadership of the Guild, stressing that his leadership has continued to inspire members and strengthen the organisation.
The Guild noted that Comrade Otiti has demonstrated a strong understanding of the evolving digital media landscape and the need for online publishers and editors to embrace professionalism, ethical journalism, accuracy, credibility and responsible reporting.
According to the Guild, his leadership has also encouraged greater collaboration among members while promoting the legitimate interests and welfare of practitioners within the online media industry.
“Today, we celebrate a visionary leader, an astute media professional and a man whose dedication to the growth and unity of our Guild remains commendable.
“On behalf of the leadership and entire membership of GOMEP-NG, we wish our National President, Comrade Akpovoke Otiti Treasure, a very happy birthday.

GOMEP-NG prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, strength, good health and greater accomplishments for Comrade Otiti, wishing him many more years of impactful leadership and service to humanity.
