IFEANYI VINCENT NZEAKO EMERGES PRESIDENT OF IGBO YOUTH MOVEMENT, ABIA STATE CHAPTER

Hon. Ifeanyi Vincent Nzeako has emerged as the President of the Igbo Youth Movement (IYM), Abia State Chapter, following a keenly contested election held in Onitsha, Anambra State, on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Nzeako secured victory after defeating three other aspirants to emerge as the leader of the movement in Abia State, earning the confidence and mandate of members to steer the affairs of the organization.

His emergence is expected to herald a new era for the Igbo Youth Movement in the state, with renewed emphasis on youth empowerment, unity, cultural preservation, and the advancement of the collective interests of Igbo youths.

As the newly elected President of the Abia State Chapter, Nzeako will coordinate the activities of the movement across the state and provide leadership in promoting initiatives geared towards the development and welfare of Igbo youths.

The election, which took place in Onitsha and attracted delegates and members from across the South-East, was conducted peacefully and culminated in the emergence of a new leadership for the Abia State chapter of the organization.

Members of the movement have expressed optimism that Nzeako’s leadership will strengthen the organization, foster greater unity among Igbo youths in Abia State, and contribute meaningfully to the socio-cultural and developmental aspirations of the Igbo nation.
